The Diary of a CEO, Steven Bartlett

In my opinion, The Diary of a CEO is a manual rather than a book. And the reason for that is because I can see myself reading again some pages of it in the future and not just leaving it in the shelf after finishing its reading.
This manual is divided into 4 pillars: the ‘myself’ concept, the history, the philosophy and the team. Each one of them contains 9 laws, except the last one that contains only 6. Each law starts with a brief explanation of what it refers to, followed by a comprehensive analysis of the theory that supports it, including the testimony from CEOs and leaders from all the society spectrum and from all around the globe, as well as the results of several experiments and investigations in each of the fields the laws focus on. Each law then ends with one or two bold sentences, in a separate page, that assimilate to a lemma.
I particularly enjoyed the reading of this manual as I’ve taken from it more knowledge than I was expecting before the start. I don’t agree with all the laws and with some I only agree partially, but the way the manual is written and the laws are supported is the one I would expect this kind of books to be written, and that doesn’t happen that often.
Also, the diversity of studies, investigations and curiosities that we have access in this pages is worth reading. Truly recommend this one, as it has become one of my favorites.
