I don’t consider The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck a book, but rather a comprehensive guide to have a better life or, at least, to see some things in life differently from what we see at the moment.
The book contains the life experiences of the author and of some well-known people, which is the base for the analysis and conclusions taken during the chapters.
The author focuses on the worst and best episodes one can have in life and deepens his compression on those by seeing them differently from what the majority of people see. It’s as if the author is breaking a puzzle into pieces that are described and explained in detail, not using scientific concepts or any other foundational knowledge, but rather the author’s vision of life, which is always free of ideologies and clear as the water.
For that reason, and without elaborating more on the book’s content, I didn’t enjoy this book that much. It’s not the worst I’ve read, as I took some personal acknowledgments from it, but it’s far from being a favorite one, as it didn’t add much value to myself.
